Privacy

Vimbara is a personal project run by one person, not a company. This page explains what it stores and how to get it removed.

What is stored

Your account email (and name or photo if you sign in with Google). Everything you enter: tasks, events, work shifts and imported schedules, reminders, work logs, income and expenses, repeats, your monthly plan, savings goals, your profile (first name, jobs, positions and pay, monthly income) and your settings such as currency and time zone. If you turn on notifications, the push address your browser gives for this device.

Each account can only see its own data. The app owner can technically see the database.

Who handles it

Clerk runs sign-in and stores your email and password. Supabase stores your data in a database in Europe. Vercel hosts the app and keeps short-lived request logs and anonymous page-speed statistics.

The daily summary, the savings tips, the “tell me what to add” bar and the goal planner use Google Gemini on its free tier. To do that, the app sends a summary of the day (task titles, shift and event times, your first name and job names and positions, but no pay figures), your spending by category, or the sentence you typed (with your category names and today's date). Google may use free-tier content to improve its products. Your account details are never sent.

Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Your data, your choice

In Settings → Backup you can download everything you entered. In Settings → Account you can delete your account, which permanently removes all your data.
